Brix City Brewing Secures Lease at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Meadowlands Industrial Portfolio

Little Ferry, NJ |

Brix City Brewing, New Jersey’s newest craft beer brewery, has leased 5,800 square feet of space at 4 Alsan Way in Little Ferry, N.J.  Located in the Meadowlands submarket, the industrial property is owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises of Hackensack, N.J.

The transaction was negotiated in-house by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. John J. Klukowicz of JK Realty represented the tenant.

Launched in 2014, Brix City Brewing is establishing its new corporate headquarters at 4 Alsan Way and plans to utilize the space for the day-to-day brewing and packaging of its craft beers and lagers, as well as for warehousing and distribution. The location also will include a retail component where consumers can sample different beers and purchase products to go.

With its superior highway access and proximity to Manhattan, the Meadowlands submarket is an ideal setting for a wide range of industrial tenants. 4 Alsan Way is well located near Routes 17, 46 and 80, the New Jersey Turnpike and Teterboro Airport, according to Jerry L. Barta, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ vice-president/director of leasing and marketing.

“Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has grown its industrial portfolio through a keen focus on providing tenants with functional, well-managed space that supports their business objectives,” said Barta. “Brix City Brewing is an exciting company to watch and we’re very pleased to have had the opportunity to fulfill their long-term facility requirements.”

Co-founded by Joseph Delcalzo and Peter A. Reuther, Brix City Brewing creates craft beers and lagers that showcase intense flavor profiles using only the highest quality ingredients. “We looked at many industrial properties and some buildings didn’t work because of parking issues while others simply didn’t have the right feel,” said Delcalzo. “4 Alsan Way offers a centralized Bergen County address near major highways. It’s the perfect location to introduce the Brix City Brewing brand to area consumers and accommodate our company’s future growth.”
